Affiliations

We are an independent Church and have no formal links with other networks or denominations. However, the Leadership Team meet informally (during fellowship and times together) and formally (once a term) with a broader leadership group of those in the Church which include Homegroup Leaders, Sunday School Leaders etc to train, encourage and equip them as well as hear feedback about any problems, concerns and difficulties. The Leadership Team also work with the Trustees (see below) who have legal obligations to ensure decisions related to UK Charity Law are carried out in an appropriate way. In addition to this, we have been working together with other Churches in the area for many years (for example we are currently involved in the Churches Together in Kingswood Alpha Course), attend Kingdom Faith's annual Faith Camp, invite Guest Speakers to come and minister to the Church and are members of the Evangelical Alliance (the oldest alliance of evangelicals in the world). The Evangelical Alliance represents over 1000 Churches and a million Christians world-wide. We subscribe to their Basis of Faith, a theological statement which defines believers' views on key theological matters.
