‘Dear friends, although I was very eager to write to you about the salvation we share, I felt I had to write and urge you to contend for the faith that was once for all entrusted to the saints’. (Jude 1v3)
We are encouraged by Jude to contend for the faith.
We are becoming what Jesus has called us to be, men of influence, making a difference in the world. We want to live with purpose, meaning, integrity, honesty, love and faith. Be men that stand up and be counted for Christ. Not just in the Church, but also at home, in the workplace, whenever and wherever we are.
We are making the name of Jesus famous again in our city and throughout our nation.
We are contending for our faith and achieving this by outworking the following:
Communication – Prayer partners
Orientation – Identity
Nutrition – Word of God
Taking the good news – Evangelism
Engage – Worship
Never give up – Stand resolute
Discipleship – Spiritual Growth
Contend meets once a month on a Friday @ 7.30pm. To find out when the next meeting is check out the diary.
