Fun Factory is a club for ages 7 – 11 years and runs on a Monday night (term time only) from 18:30-20:00.
The aims of the club are to:
• Provide a loving and safe environment for the children to have fun and make friends
• Encourage them to stretch their imaginations in times of creative fun
• Help them grow in confidence and to respect each other
• Experience the love and goodness of God for themselves each week
• Teach them Bible stories and introduce them to Jesus
The club is open to all children and on a typical club night you would expect to see the evening reflect all the above aims with plenty of opportunity for craft, cooking, team games and Bible teaching.
We are also fortunate to occasionally use the Castaways facility and have special theme nights – these vary considerably and over the last few months these have included: barbecues; judo; water games; and bike rides.
The club operates usually with around 25-30 children mainly coming from the area local to the church.
In 2007/08 we are hoping to extend the age of the club to form a separate older group of Fun Factory kids.
