If you’re aged between 0 and 11 and you come to Bristol Community Church, you are part of ‘Kingdom Builders’.

Vision

‘Kingdom Builders’ is inspired by the story of Jeremiah, who was a prophet from the Old Testament. When God called Jeremiah he was only a boy, but this is what God said to him:

"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart;
I appointed you as a prophet to the nations." But Jeremiah said, "I do not know how to speak; 'I am only a child.' But the Lord said to him, "Do not say, 'I am only a child'. You must go to everyone I send you to and say whatever I command you. Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you and will rescue you, declares the Lord." (Jeremiah 1:5-8)
Then God reached out His hand and touched Jeremiah’s mouth, and said to him, “Now, I have put my words in your mouth,” and God appointed Jeremiah to build and to plant the kingdom of God.

Treasure Chest

'Treasure Chest' is for babies who are still crawling (0-1). God sees our babies as those who sparkle beautifully in His land.

Kingdom Bricks

For the toddlers (1-3), there is ‘Kingdom Bricks’, where we can play together, and learn about who God is, and how to make good choices for Him.

Lighthouse

'Lighthouse' is for 3 to 5 year olds. We learn lots about how to live a life that makes God pleased with us and how we can share Jesus with our friends at pre-school and school.

Explorers

If you’re aged 5 to 7, you’ll be part of 'Explorers'. God has promised that we will find Him when we search for Him with all our heart, so we spend time exploring the truth about God together.

God's Kids

7 to 11 year olds are part of 'God’s Kids' or 'GKs'. The Bible says we are a chosen people, royal priests, a holy nation, a people who belong to God (1 Peter 2:9). We learn about what it means to belong to God and how we can play a part in what God is doing in His church.

Worship Sessions

Every month, we all get together to worship God with songs, and listen to what God is saying to us. God is working in each of our lives, and wants to speak to us and use us to speak out what He is saying to the other children and adults in the church.
