It's great to be able to welcome you to the Bristol Community Church website. We trust that you will find it informative, useful and a real blessing.As a church our heart is to promote lives which truly reflect God's Kingdom. Ultimately the Church becomes the expression of our daily Kingdom living and this is best expressed when our hearts are constrained by the wonder of God's love for us.
We believe that the power of God comes out of the fullness of His perfect love which emanates from our hearts and minds. When this love is applied through His Word by faith under the leadership of the Holy Spirit this becomes the key to overcoming sin, satan and the world.
We have a deep longing to not just win those who are lost for the Kingdom of God but to invigorate and to excite again the hearts of many Christians who have either lost their way in their faith or who have grown bored and tired because of a poverty of good leadership or a compromised gospel.
We hunger for a Church of people who are motivated, who are captivated by their love for God and by their heart to serve Him. We hunger for people who are passionate, who truly believe God's Word and thirst for righteousness. We are uncompromising in these things and believe that by taking up this position we truly please God and win His approval. In doing this we obey the scriptures by abiding in Him and truly bear the fruit that Jesus longs and desires for each one to bear.
I trust this small insight will give you a feel of our hearts towards God and that we can be truly recognised as His disciples by our love for one another.
